ClinicianCore Terms of Use for Providers and Clinical Teams
ClinicianCore is a secure, HIPAA-compliant communication platform built by physicians, for clinicians. Whether you’re a physician, nurse, care coordinator, or allied health professional, this platform is designed to streamline collaboration, reduce alert fatigue, and protect patient privacy across the continuum of care.
By accessing or using ClinicianCore (“Platform”), you agree to the following Terms of Use (“Terms”), which govern your relationship with ClinicianCore, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. HIPAA Compliance & Patient Privacy
- ClinicianCore is architected to meet the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- All Protected Health Information (PHI) is encrypted in transit and at rest, and handled in accordance with federal and state privacy laws.
- As a licensed provider or healthcare stakeholder, you are responsible for using the Platform in a manner that upholds your own professional and legal obligations under HIPAA.
2. Who Can Use ClinicianCore
- This Platform is intended for licensed clinicians, healthcare administrators, and authorized care team members.
- You must be affiliated with a healthcare organization or have appropriate credentials to access clinical communication features.
- Use of the Platform for non-clinical, personal, or commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
3. Your Account & Security Responsibilities
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and access devices.
- You agree to use multi-factor authentication (MFA) where available and report any unauthorized access or suspected breach immediately.
- We reserve the right to suspend or revoke access if account integrity or patient safety is compromised.
4. What You May Not Do
To protect patients and preserve clinical integrity, you agree not to:
- Share PHI outside authorized channels or with unauthorized individuals.
- Use the Platform to transmit false, misleading, or discriminatory content.
- Attempt to bypass security protocols, introduce malicious code, or disrupt platform operations.
5. Clinical Content & Ownership
- You retain ownership of any clinical notes, messages, attachments, or other content you contribute.
- By using the Platform, you grant us a limited license to process and transmit your content solely for the purpose of delivering secure communication services.
- We do not sell, monetize, or share your data with third parties without your explicit consent.
6. Platform Reliability & Updates
- ClinicianCore is designed for high availability, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.
- We may update or modify features to enhance performance, security, or compliance.
- You agree to use the most current version of the Platform and accept any automatic updates.
7. Limitation of Liability
- ClinicianCore is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use, including delays in communication or data loss.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by your organization (if any) for Platform access in the preceding 12 months.
8. Termination & Access
- You may discontinue use at any time.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or applicable laws.
- Upon termination, access to communication history and PHI may be restricted or deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.
